It is so wonderful finding a company that gives you the confidence in their work because their own personal standards were higher than our expectations.

My wife and I wanted something a little unusual for our new Auchenflower home. Firstly we wanted the kitchen upstairs not downstairs like most project home builders do and who are not prepared to change the design. Secondly, we did want an extra kitchen downstairs in what we created as a separate apartment style accommodation for family and quests when they came to stay.

When my husband and I were looking for a builder to build our dream home, we approached a number of companies but as we were to be building on quite a steep block, most of these builders did not want to take on our project. Some companies only offered to take one of their standard designs and try to make it fit our block but that wasn’t what we wanted.

We came across the Fort Constructions display home at Rochedale Estates and met with their designer.  He very skilfully took our ideas and designed a beautiful home for us. We were very happy with the whole design and build process which included consulting with reputable tiling, kitchen and lighting companies.

Many of our friends have commented on the high quality workmanship. From our experience with Fort Constructions, I can thoroughly recommend them to anyone wanting to build a beautiful home.

This was the first home we had built and we must say that the professionalism shown by everyone at Fort made it a very pleasant experience with none of the horror stories we had heard about building!

We are absolutely thrilled with the quality of materials and finish. We are most impressed with Fort’s attention to detail throughout the whole building process.

This was our first time building, and naturally we were quite nervous about the process. But after having worked with Rayden and his team, we now look back on the build, and think how great the process was, and that much of this had to do with the team at Fort.

Nothing was too much trouble, and all the staff were most helpful. We were most grateful for having regular access on site and chatting regularly with Pat to resolve any issues that popped up along the way. Pat made himself available to meet regularly on site and his passion for building was obvious, and he was genuinely committed to building a quality home for us. No matter the time of day or how many times we had spoken to him, Pat was always very professional and able to solve any concerns we had quickly and without any fuss.

Throughout our build we found the team to be very accommodating, responsive and efficient. We were also impressed with the team of contractors engaged by Fort. Our dealings with them were all very positive. Roger was very helpful, and super efficient with all our interactions with the office.

There will definitely be many happy days ahead in our new home!

Recommending Fort Construction to any prospective people looking to build is easy. They made this a great experience for both of us, but more importantly, we are so proud of our new home.

From the day we met Rayden and his team from Fort we knew we were in good hands. As our house materialised, Fort consistently delivered quality results with a high degree of professionalism and integrity often missing in most building projects. Rayden and Pat often went out of their way to make sure we were aware of any challenges as they arose to make sure we could make informed decisions.

The finished product was beyond what we expected and we often have guests state how impressed they are with the quality of the house.

We were always wary of variations and how out of control they could get so meeting up with Rayden regularly, provided that transparency that we were after and that way there were no surprises at the end.

For a first time experience of having a house built, we came out of it better then we imagined. We would like to acknowledge that Fort were an integral part of that experience and if/when we embark on that project in the future we would turn to Fort again.
